Staffed with an incredible team of industry professionals, clients are motivated by the expertise and passion of their trainers. The Institute became a reality when Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center joined together with a team of former professional athletes and coaches to build a unique fitness and wellness experience. As a new brand, The Institute knew that creating a business website would be a smart way to promote brand awareness, provide customers with relevant content, and grow business through lead generation. The Institute reached out to Bigfoot Web to design and develop a user-friendly website that could be created and launched in just two weeks.
The Bigfoot Web design process kicks off with a detailed needs assessment. Bigfoot worked closely with The Institute to understand their business goals, which greatly inform their website objectives. The Institute team agreed that the new site should have a clean and simple layout with built in tracking capabilities in order to better understand visitor behavior. Before developing an overall plan to direct the project, the Bigfoot team conducted research about the fitness industry, competitors, and audience. Bigfoot designers constructed the layout of the site to include visually compelling images that draw the visitor in and a scrolling format that highlights The Institute’s services, mission, partners, and events. The Institute’s website would draw from a black, grey, and red color palette to convey strength and vibrancy. Incorporating video on the homepage was another important design element in the layout plan. With the design underway, Bigfoot developers built the site to integrate forms with Hubspot, so The Institute team could track lead generation.
It was clear to the Bigfoot Web team from the onset of the project that this website would use Squarespace as the content management system, blogging platform, and hosting service. Squarespace offers an easy to use interface that anyone can be trained on, which means that The Institute team would be able to update and alter elements of the site content without any hassle. From changing text in headers, adding page descriptions, or rewriting large sections of content to uploading and resizing new images, the backend of Squarespace makes editing and maintaining content very intuitive. Each page of the site has SEO friendly features and the site is responsive, so no matter what device the visitor is using, the results will be beautifully formatted to fit the screen. Another reason to use Squarespace as the hosting service for The Institute’s project is the robust analytics that the CMS provides on the website’s performance and visitation traffic. The Institute will be able to inform their decisions about the site’s successful features with rich data.
